Over the course of many years, Samara Lipsky has always been proud of her Jewish heritage. As such, she has also been very protective of it. She grew up on the Upper East Side of New York City, where she graduated from the Modern Orthodox Raman School. That tradition has continued to this day, as she recently served as a staff member with the Union for Reform Judaism and she has been a Hebrew teacher at the Reform Temple Israel in her old neighborhood. Not only that, but she also has tutored a large number of young Jewish bar and bat mitzvah students.
